Samuel M. Talmer, D.D.S.

Dr. Samuel M. Talmer graduated from the University of Michigan Dental School in 1973 and has practiced in Lake Orion from that time to the present. Dr. Talmer is a member of the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, and the Oakland County Dental Society. Dr. Talmer is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, which represents the completion of over 500 hours of continuing education over a ten year period and the completion of a written comprehensive six hour examination in the various aspects of dentistry. Dr. Talmer truly enjoys helping our patient family to achieve and maintain good dental health. Dr. Talmer and wife Ruth enjoy golf, exercising at the gym, yoga, pilates, traveling, visiting grandson Nathan in Arizona, and tending to their Koi pond in their yard at home.

Tiffany J. Karkanen, D.D.S.

Dr. Tiffany J. Karkanen graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in 2005, where she received multiple awards including the prestigious International College of Dentists Leadership Award. Dr, Karkanen's interests include dental care for children, teens and adults; cosmetic dentistry; endodontic (root canal) therapy; and dental extractions with care and comfort. Dr. Karkanen is a member of the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association and the Oakland County Dental Society. Dr. Karkanen resides in Royal Oak with her husband, Chris, who is a hospital emergency room physician, and their Siberian husky named Julep.
